Nov. 12, 2016: Alternative Christmas

Visit the 21st Annual Christmas Market and experience a whole new way of shopping. At this Christmas Market, you can buy beautiful gifts for everyone on your list or make donations in honor of loved ones. While you leave with your shopping completed before Thanksgiving, your dollars spent at the Christmas Market go right to work helping the nonprofit organizations you chose to support. You take a gift and you give a gift all in one simple stop. Whenever you think your small donation won’t amount to much, the collective dollars of shoppers at this Market make a world of difference to the clients served by the participating organizations.

The Boy Scouts will host a grill booth, while the Cookie Room will return with tasty holiday morsels for you to buy. Also new this year will be a Children’s Shop, to introduce young shoppers to creative charitable shopping. Shop and then exit through the Cashier Room to make one payment using cash, checks, or major credit cards.

The nonprofit organizations hosting holiday booths at this year’s Christmas Market include Bible Mission USA, Boy Scouts, Cedarkirk Camp & Conference Center, Crafty Cut Ups, Feeding Empty Little Tummies, Foundation for Dreams, Heifer International, HOPE Seeds, J316 Ministries, Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, Manasota Operation Troop Support, MoonRacer Animal Rescue, My Choice Pregnancy Center, Selah Freedom, SOLVE Maternity Homes, Ten Thousand Villages, The Haven, Thornwell Home for Children, and Tidewell Hospice.

Mark your calendar for the kickoff event of the season on November 12th! The Christmas Market will be open 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and is located at Kirkwood Church at 6101 Cortez Road, Bradenton, FL 34210.
